Hello! I’m Kleo Kushova, an Albanian-born American actor based in New York City.
Here are some quick facts about me:
I am a recent graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I earned my degree in Acting and Directing. There, I deepened my passion for performing and honed my skills both on-stage and on camera.
I have had the privilege of working on everything from contemporary theater and new works for emerging artists, to taking on the classics using my training at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
My love for acting really stems from growing up in a household that mixed old-fashioned Albanian dramas with traditional American sitcoms. This exposure quickly helped me become bi-lingual.
I began taking Ballroom and Latin dance classes as early as the 5th grade, the same time I started acting in school productions. These passions stayed with me in high school, through college, and have now led me to where I am today.
With my acting, I hope to show the intricacies of the strengths and the flaws that make us who we are by portraying relatable characters that can make you laugh and/or cry.
In my free time, I love to relax by cooking and baking, playing ping pong, and catching up on my favorite tv shows and movies. I am also an avid board gamer, and love to explore new restaurants.
